How files and links are processed

Your browser sends submitted links and uploaded media over HTTPS through Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare Tunnel to our transcription server. Cloudflare processes network requests and can process request content as part of providing its infrastructure. For link requests our server contacts Instagram to retrieve public media; Instagram receives the requested URL and the server network address. We do not request your Instagram credentials.

Speech recognition and retention

Whisper runs on our server. Audio is not sent to an external speech recognition API. Temporary media is removed after processing, including handled failures; an abrupt server termination may leave temporary files until cleanup. Finished job results are kept in server memory for up to ten minutes and then removed. Your open browser tab holds the result until you leave or replace it. Copies and downloads you create remain under your control.

Infrastructure and logs

Cloudflare may retain operational and security logs under its own policies. Our application does not maintain a transcript history or analytics database, use tracking cookies, or request an account. Model files were downloaded from Hugging Face separately from visitor media.

Future advertising

No advertising scripts are currently installed. We plan to display third-party advertisements in the future. Such providers may process identifiers, cookies and usage information. This policy and any required consent controls will be updated before those advertisements are enabled.
